Every week, thousands of volunteers walk into public primary schools to help children learn the skills of ethical decision-making – learning to question, interpret and decide based on values.
Our community program runs entirely on donations. Without your support some kids will miss out on these skills, crucially needed in this AI-dominated world. $100 will train a volunteer to take an ethics class for a year, so we can reach more students in local schools.
As technology moves faster than we can sometimes process, helping children develop curiosity, empathy and critical thinking skills becomes essential.
We aren’t teaching them to follow a specific set of beliefs; we’re teaching them to think for themselves. And there is nothing more important than that.

For today’s young people, the overwhelming flood of information — often a blend of truth and distortion — makes the ability for critical evaluation essential, starting in kindergarten. Primary Ethics lessons are a unique opportunity for children to develop the tools needed to become thoughtful citizens in a rapidly changing world.
Our volunteer teachers encourage students to question assumptions, evaluate arguments and consider the broadest implications of their ideas. $25 goes towards training volunteers and providing expertly-crafted lessons they use to encourage critical thinking.

Primary Ethics is an independently run charity which receives no government funding. We depend on many generous supporters, giving large and small amounts, in order to keep delivering our unique, world-class ethics education programs to children in hundreds of public schools in NSW.
